We place Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) at the heart of our business. From the very first design decisions, we measure environmental impact so we understand how each choice affects both footprint and cost. This lets us optimise performance, sustainability, and total cost at the same time. The environmental hotspots we identify directly shape our R&D roadmap. We are currently involved in three EU-funded projects on flexible printed circuits and bio-based solar cells. Using these technologies, we have designed a battery-free remote control that reduces total environmental impact by 70%. For our customers, this approach enables credible sustainability claims, prepares products for tomorrow’s regulations and, most importantly, helps create electronics that are genuinely sustainable.
